  • Black Africans are Genetically Different from the Rest of the World

Black Africans are genetically different from the rest of the world.

2-19% of Black African DNA contains traces of Homo Erectus, an archaic species that lived for millions of years using the same tools without any innovation and lacked the ability to speak.

The rest of the world contains 1-4% of Neanderthal or Denisovan DNA, species known for inventing tools and higher cognitive functions and who had the capacity to speak.

  • USSR De-Stalin-ization 1956 Nikita Khrushchev’s Secret Speech

A really interesting speech where Nikita Khrushchev gave a speech about the rulership of Stalin. He criticizes Stalin’s methods and repressions. He excuses Lenin’s use of extreme measures and says they were justified because Socialism was not achieved yet, but he argues that Socialism was already achieved under Stalin, so extreme measures against the people were not necessary.

Basically Khrushchev here is addressing the government of the USSR after Stalin’s death, and he is saying, “that was really bad.”

It was pretty shocking because nobody could say anything like that while Stalin was alive. Stalin died in 1953.
